1. Any U.S. citizen, 18 years of age or older, lawfully entitled to posses a firearm, may apply for membership to the Club.  Club by-laws provide for family and junior memberships.

2. Applicants must be sponsored by a member in good standing.  Applicants must fill out an application form, attend two monthly Club meetings and pay one year's dues and initiation fee.  The first Club meeting will consist of an introduction by the sponsor and applicant giving reasons for wanting to join. The second Club meeting is when the potential new member is voted in.

3. Applicants are also required to attend a 3 - 4 hr orientation that includes qualifying for the indoor range.  In qualifying the applicant will need to demonstrate safe gun handling and accuracy competence shooting at targets at a 50 foot distance.

4. Annual dues are $65.00 to $125.00 depending on the volunteer time devoted to Club work parties / activities.

NOTICE: While the Waterloo Rifle & Pistol Club will except new member applications, please be advised that the Club is currently at a membership cap with a waiting list of a few months to possibly a 1 year wait depending on the volume of applications.
