Indoor Silhouette is designed more for the precision shooter and is open to members and the general public. Paper silhouette targets consist of 4 animal shapes placed at 50 feet consisting of Chickens, Pig, Turkeys and Rams. The course of fire is four, 5-round strings, one for each animal with 2 minutes for each string. Scoring is 5 points for each shot that is completely inside the outline of the animal and 1 point for shots that touch the outline of the animal for a possible total score of 100. Each shooter competes against other shooters of similar skill and the firearm used. Shooters are assigned classifications based on skill and progress through the ranks to compete against more skilled competitors. C, B, A, AA, AAA & Master are the classifications starting with C being the lowest classification and Master being the highest. Shoots are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, January thru April.
